Missing or inaccessible profile
Out of nowhere today I encountered with Firefox seemingly crashing. My laptop said it needed to reboot. Once rebooted I began to get the missing/inaccessible profile error. I tried to uninstall / reinstall but continue to get the error. When I search through for the missing profile per all guidance and troubleshooting Windows says it's not found. When I use the "run" it doesn't bring me to a folder but to a notepad type screen (copy paste below). I do not see where I have any options. Would it be effective to just delete all Mozilla from my laptop? I uninstalled / reinstalled but same error.

Hello,
You can try this : (windows) Press Win + R, then type firefox.exe -P. If it works, the profile lock is gone. If not, go the next few ways.
Press Win + R, then type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\, then delete installs.ini, NOT profiles.ini.
If it doesn't work, try this Type Win + R, then type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\, then look for files named parent.lock or lock and delete those files.
If all above fails, you must create a new profile, but you can try finding your old profile data, and copy them to the respective folder places of the new profile.
To see the old profile, (there probably is), type Win+R, then type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\, and find the old profile. Next, find the following files ; places.sqlite for bookmarks, key4.db / logins.json for passwords
