Why am I getting access denied messages

There's currently a wave of these from Akamai who provide the services for many of these sites, they seem to disallow older browser versions now apparently.
Could you make sure you keep your Firefox updated, to avoid them rejecting the service to you?

Hi evejames8524, Could you please provide some more information? Like an error message, a screenshot or the website?

Hello, I'm also receiving the above message.
Just a little note to say I'm running the extension "User-Agent Switcher".
When I turn off this extension and restart Firefox, I'm able to access the sites which agrees with your solution as the extension fools the Next UK website into thinking I'm using an old browser.
I thought I'd mention it as others may use the above extension or something similar.
lowes.com homedepot.com kohls.com All give similiar denial messages.
Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.lowes.com/weekly-ad" on this server.

My issue started 6-8-26. Could not search on Lowe's or Home Depot's sites. I get the edgesuite "don't have permission access" message on Lowes and "Oops, something went wrong" on Home Depot's site. I am using Windows 7 with Firefox v115.37 Oesr which is the current version for Win 7. Am I being excluded by them by not accepting older systems/browsers or is it their servers denying access? Or is it a Firefox issue? I really want to continue to use my older system and am grateful for open source entities making that possible. It has worked just great up until now.

For end–of–life platforms some of the info collected is referenced e.g. from here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1585074#answer-1829570
(Which is a different situation than this question, that is a report for present–day release version.)
Hello
Maybe, if you wish, you can try the potential workaround, User Agent Switcher https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/uaswitcher
