i want to stop adding new shortcuts on your homepage
It is pathetic and shows greed that whenever I do a search, their website shortcut is added to your landing page,m resulting in lost of sites I CHOOSE to access.
Stop the GREED and advise how I can stop this from happening.

If you mean the "Homepage" as in what you see on a new tab or window. You can change these settings on the Desktop Firefox by going to Hamburger -> Settings -> Home and then the "New Windows and Tabs" section.
I personally have both new windows and tabs set to "Blank page" due to privacy considerations so have not experienced the specific issue you describe.
