What happens to my Firefox bookmarks if I choose Sync, will it make bookmarks on all other devices the same?
Just want to confirm if my expectations are correct. If I rearrange, delete, add, edit, etc, my Firefox bookmarks on one of the devices I use with the same account and choose Sync, will this make the bookmarks on all other devices the same?

Yes. If you add, edit, or delete a bookmark from one device, after they have syncced, that change will be reflected on the other devices.

With sync, all members of the sync share all selected data. Note: There is no master.

Thank you for your reply but I'm not sure if I understand what is "all selected data". Does that mean changes on one device (if that's what you call a member) is reflected on all other devices when using the same Firefox account?

You can choose what gets synced. Bookmarks, history, passwords . . . . Only what you choose gets synced.
This sounds great, but it is not true for me. I have many bookmarks on Firefox on my laptop, but when I sign into my Firefox account on my desktop, none of my bookmarks appear. I have signed in a dozen times over the past several months on the desktop, and the bookmarks never appear. What gives?
You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see whether recent Sync logs are available. You can upload the file to a website like Pastebin if you can't post the content of the file in a reply.
This can be caused by a problem with the places.sqlite and favicons.sqlite databases in the Firefox profile folder.
- use "Verify Integrity" button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page
If errors are reported with "Verify Integrity", close and restart Firefox or reboot and retry.
