I use a site with multiple links. When I go to that site on IE, the links are good. When I go to that site on Firefox, they're dead. Why?

I reviewed the suggested questions and noticed one person with links trouble at least got to a blank page. What I'm experiencing is the words that should be links are not links. No little hand, no underline, etc., when you hover over them.

This is a site that I've used for several years now but it does have a certificate warning when I open it. On IE I always said "go ahead" cause I know the site and trust it. With Firefox, I got the security warning and said "go ahead" and then opted to not get the warning every time (like I do on IE). Could this have made the links bad?

Hope to get help cause I really pretty much hate IE.

Is this a new problem in Firefox 23? In other words, did the site worked in Firefox 22? One of the changes in Firefox 23 is a mixed content block, described in this article: Mixed content blocking in Firefox

If the same problem existed in Firefox 22, it would be easier to diagnose with hands on access. Is there a page demonstrating the problem that a volunteer could view without having an account/login on the site?

It is possible that another element is overlaying that part of the page and is preventing you from clicking the links.

You can right-click a link and open the built-in inspector (Inspect Element) to see what get selected.
