keyboard shotcuts are ruining my life, how do i disable them?

ok, here is my issue. every now and then i start typing and random shortcut functions happen. these include save page window opens, bookmark sidebar opens, new tab opens, backspace, context menu functions like flashgot all and paste etc i'm not hitting ctrl, alt, shift or backspace when this happens, only typing letters. I have paranoid security software (comodo internet security, superantispyware, spybot search and destroy, malwarebytes and a router. i am using windows xp sp2
