Email address for new sync account

When setting up a new sync account, do you need to use an existing email address, or do you create a new email address?

You can only use an email address once to set up a Sync account.
If you need more than one Sync account then you need to use another email address.

If you no longer intent to use a Sync account then you can delete that account.
