how can i get rid of babylon and restore google as my default search engine?

Somehow I have got Babylon onto firefox as the search engine. I don't want this and want to go back to google as the default search engine. How do i set google as the default search engine? Also babylon will not let me go to google .com but always changes to google .fr which i do not want. Can you help?
