Why wont firefox go forward/back or reload? I have uninstall & reinstalled several times.

Firefox will not navigate back or forward. It will also not reload the screen. This function won't work via the toolbar or a mouse that typically lets you do these functions on previous firefox.

Toolbar buttons not working is probably caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf

BTW, if you haven't noticed the back/forward button no longer has a drop-down use right-click to see the context menu.

Another possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
