Since FF4, the alt/title box doesn't appear on first mouse-over. it does appear as of the second mouse-over and on, but this counting might get "reset" when a non-titled link is pointed. never had something like this with older FF versions (and I didn't install any add-on since FF's upgrade).

I haven't noticed any problems in this area. Do you have any add-ons related to tooltips for ALT attributes? (Displaying ALT when the TITLE is missing requires an add-on.) If so, I wonder whether it might have a slight compatibility problem.

no, there is no such an add-on installed. i also tried disabling all add-ons/plugins; the problem remains.
