I lost the whole Firefox application when upgraded to 4.0 I use a Mac G5 version 10.4.11
There are often upgrades offered when I open my Firefox and done automatically. This time with the 4.0 upgrade offer I messed up and lost the whole application (my Firefox icon has a sign on it indicating that it's not there.) HELP.

Alternatively you can get the latest official release of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Thank you TonyE for your helpful reply. I used one of the alternative link you sent me and downloaded the latest official release of Firefox 3.6. I am not going to bother with the 4.0 upgrade at this point... Nitza
