You can check to see if the alternative method to access the import wizard works.

  1. In the Bookmarks menu select Organize Bookmarks to open the bookmarks library
  2. In the bookmarks library, select Import and Backup then Import HTML, this should hopefully give you the option to import from Safari.

I used the Organize Bookmarks option to import my Safari bookmarks. However, question for the developers. Why doesn't the Import function under File work?

I do have my updated bookmarks imported into Firefox.
