Can see Crossword widget on one PC but not the other

Les.Litwin

I have two windows PCs, both running Firefox 154.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Pro. One PC has the Daily Crossword widget, the other doesn't? When I go into Manage Widgets, the Daily Crossword option is present on the first PC, but not the other? It's possible that I may have hidden the Daily Crossword widget on the second PC, but if so, how do I unhide it? The PC without the widget is connected directly via a LAN cable to my router, while the other PC is connected to the same router via a Google WiFi mesh.

Do you have them synced or is it a choice you made on each individual PC

As far as I can tell, everything is synchronised between the two PCs, but there doesn't seem to be a specific widget synchronisation setting.

Hi,

Are remote improvements allowed on both of your computers?

Yes, as far as I can tell, on both PCs - see uploaded image. I have also uploaded screenshots of the Widget Manager from both PCs which shows that one PC has the Daily Crossword and the other doesn't.

The widgets are rolling out progressively, if you really REALLY really need to have the same ones available there might be internal setting to tinker with to force their visibility, but in general it just means you'll get them over time on the other device as well. (It might be just a version difference too, not just the browser but the actual new tab is also versioned, and ships in several waves.)

Thanks, I'll give it a few weeks to see what happens.
