How does Firefox blocks you screen sharing? Is there any error info or behavior? Also, are you sharing the Firefox window or other windows behind it?

I'm trying to complete a job whereby I have to share my screen for recording and for some reason it is not working and won't allow me to do it. I have gone to privacy and security settings in mozilla and i can see camera and microphone but not for screen sharing

is the website or an app requesting a screen share? which step does it fail (no permission popup / window selection failed or?)

Yes the website is requesting a screenshare and I select the page which I wish to share and it simply doesn't allow.

Since you are using Mac OS:

System Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Screen and System Audio Recording -> Add Firefox to the list and toggle it on.
