When i attempt to start firefox it doesn't open or will instantly close and then close the error. It does give me a crash report, starting in troubleshoot mode does not change the outcome. I have reinstalled several times and don't know any other way to try to solve this.

You can ask for help with a crash report (first link below) but you may save time by trying a new profile. You can do that with Firefox closed.
