Hey, Attaching a support page link below with detailed steps on how to resolve this issue. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-much-memory-or-cpu-resources Also regarding the multi processes Firefox splits the different components of the browser in different processes for example, the primary browser UI, any add-ons you've installed, and any websites you've opened may all be running as different processes.

Did not know that this was (or was not) a problem. It certainly is not something that I can fix.

Most all of the suggestions on the link have already been done or do not need doing.

Thank you for the explanation. FF is too much of a hog. Has been for many, many years.
