Firefox is no longer compatible with my Utility Company
In the past, I could check my water bill online but just found out that firefox is not compatible with it. That is a problem which someone needs to fix. This is the message they sent me... this is for the City of Bellevue, WA https://myutilitybill.bellevuewa.gov
Your website access issue has been forwarded to me for response. Are you by chance using Firefox as your browser? Firefox has recently made some changes which render them incompatible with MyUtilityBill. They are not going to make any changes so they will remain incompatible. If you use IE or Chrome, it will work. If you are not using Firefox, please call Customer Service at 425-452-6973 to see if we can help troubleshoot.

Hi rupasi, Take a look at this thread:
Workaround to PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1265196
According to SSL Labs - (SSL Report: myutilitybill.bellevuewa.gov (174.127.160.166) https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=myutilitybill.bellevuewa.gov)
All versions of Firefox are being blocked by their server.
"Firefox has recently made some changes which render them incompatible with MyUtilityBill. They are not going to make any changes so they will remain incompatible."
It would certainly be interesting to learn the details behind that statement. Especially, since I am blocking 12 trackers, 3 referrer headers and 2 scripts on their Home page.
As the above diagnostic shows, the server doesn't share any encryption ciphers in common with Firefox (see attached).
This doesn't appear to be due to a recent change in Firefox, as the diagnostic shows that Firefox 31, 47, and 49 cannot connect, either. Instead, my guess would be that they recently turned off TLS 1.0 and 1.1, and that may have inadvertently modified cipher support as well.
This problem is not because the server requires especially strong ciphers: the above diagnostic shows that the server only supports weak ciphers. Someone on their web team should review their settings.
