Hi 0949lynn, there are a variety of different kinds of scanners you can attach to your computer. Some look like copiers, some like fax machine, and some are a thin bar that feeds a sheet of paper through.

You might need to complete this process it in two steps:

(1) Use your scanner's software to save the scan to a PDF file or image file

(2) Attach the PDF file or image file to your message
