Every other user forum I belong to keeps my email address hidden. I never expected that Mozilla could be so useless regarding such basic security. This is totally unacceptable. I was not warned that my email address would be visible to all users. This is in breach of the United Kingdom Data Protection Act. I demand that this is corrected immediately.

hello, it is clearly stated on the account creation page that bugzilla is a public place and that mail addresses are visible: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/createaccount.cgi

you can disable your bugzilla account or change the associated mail address yourself through https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi - if you really want to get your account deleted you'll have to file a particular bug for it, since only administrators on bugzilla.mozilla.org can do this & we are just normal users like you replying here in the support forum.

If you only added your email to the CC list then you can remove it from the list. If you posted a comment in a bug report then there is nothing you can do about it.
