I can not add bookmarks
Hi, when I try to bookmark a page the add bookmark window does not come up. Refreshing Firefox fixes the problem temporarily; however in the next session the problem returns.

There are some extensions which are causing issues with bookmarking features in Firefox 40. These include Tab Mix Plus, IE Tab/IE Tab 2/etc., and Tree Style Tab. if you have any of these extensions, then that might be the explanation. You can check using the Add-ons page, either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then check for any of these extensions in the list on the right and disable them.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step so that the change takes effect.
Any difference?

IE Tab is known to mess up Firefox saving a new bookmark. If you got it, disable it until the developer fixes it.
that didn't seem to do the trick :( but thank you for the suggestion!
