system mac yosemite ff 38.0.6, how can i disable or allow havascript?
tried it with the plugin "quick java" did not work. disabled js once and could not return to work wit js. deinstalled the plugin, but since this it is only possible to surf the web without js -not good. exists a short cut do enable... thanks

In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :
- In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
Type javascript.enabled in the search box on this page.
Right-click on the entry and select Reset from the context menu.

It is usually best not to disable JavaScript globally because these days a lot of websites need JavaScript to function properly.
