Firefox takes a long time (1 to 5 minutes) to load a theme. I have installed a Manchester United theme and when i start Firefox it starts with the default theme and even doesn't list my theme in the themes section of the addons menu. I continue browsing and after 1-5 minutes it just changes to my theme. IS this a bug?

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

I have heard that some themes are not compatible to the new Firefox.
