使用系统：win11。我在之前的Firefox上已经登录了账号并开启了自动同步，前天我重新安装了系统并下载登录了账号。登录了账号之后并没有重新同步我的书签，我手动同步多次没有结果，并等待了一段时间自动同步，以及观察是否会同步书签到本地，结果仍没有。于是我尝试用我手机的Firefox登录电脑的Firefox，结果才同步了我手机的书签信息，但我手机的书签信息已经过时。而且电脑的Firefox显示可以和手机的Firefox互相同步信息及标签页等，但我观察后发现并没有完全同步，我电脑/手机的信息及标签页都是一天两天之前的，手动同步后仍然没有看到有更新。我希望同步回服务器的书签信息！

I reinstalled a new win11 and downloded fresh firefox. Sync is not working and I have no previous data to resume working. All tabs and logins are not showing in new firefox. Pls fix the issue.

Hello, All my fav and password have defaulted on new PC (none have synced over). I have no access to my old PC that i use firefox sync account (always save pw and urls). Faulty harddrive. On my new PC i forgot my Firefox password so did pw recovery with my MFA. All fine but none of my fav and passwords synced over (over 200 urls and 50+ passwords)

I still have my original recovery key there is no options to enter this after firefox login on my new PC.

Please help.

Firefox crashes. Blue dots moving next to too tabs. Problem began this morning upon opening Firefox and dialogs box asked if wanted to sync bookmarks with another device with Firefox.

I reinstalled Windows. Installed The last version of Firefox and logged into my account. But there weren't any of my previous settings (extensions, bookmarks, history etc.). What happened with them?

I had a previous account with firefox on a different computer and attempted to login on a new one, but once i logged in none of my passwords or data transferred even though it was the same account, just curious if there’s any way i can get my info onto my new computer besides using a sync key or manually importing it

installed latest FIREFOX, but cannot recover previous passwords and bookmarks Used to use 'Sync' login and password and it would auto download to the clean Firsfoc install. Now it wont ans years of passwords have vanished and I am in trouble! Please advise

My syncing my desktop to my Android phone has stopped. When I try to sync, nothing happens. I'm trying to sign in and you system keeps on telling me to check my Microsoft Authenticator, but nothing happens there (on the phone) and I don't see authenticator on my desktop. I've recently changed some passwords (not Firefox) and need my phone Firefox updated. Please help.

I bought a new PC and when I try to sync to the browser I don't receive the confirmation code by email (yahoo). I saved the address in my contacts, nothing. The problem has persisted for more than a month. What can be done? Thanks

The 2-year-old support page "View synced tabs from other devices" gives 2 methods for syncing all your tabs from one Windoze FF to another. Neither one does anything at all for me now. The "right-click on the device in the sidebar" sounded SO promising, but it does not cause anything at all to happen. And checking the "sync tabs" box does indeed make them all show up in the sidebar list, but does not open anything. So besides clicking on each of the hundreds of tabs listed, how can I do this, or is it just another FF functionality lost to time?

I have 3 devices connected to Mozilla account, 2 smartphones and 1 PC and NONE of them are syncing properly, bookmarks sync perfectly and everything else fails miserably. Some part of history does sync but nowhere near the full history. Syncing of open tabs is *completely* broken.

so i was using my pc (and firefox) normally, when i then turned off the machine as usual.

when i turned my pc on again and opened firefox, everything was gone, i wasn't signed in and all my bookmarks and several home url's were not there, you don't need me to tell you that's not normal.

of course, i followed the most logical course of actions, i signed into my firefox account (from which i am sending this ticket), and expected all my data to magically sync, which it didn't, so i then tried to sync in manually, looking for any backup file on my pc (i couldn't find any, though i can't say i know what one looks like so...)

hopefully this can be fixed because i had auto-sync on and it would be a bummer to lose everything and slowly rebuild my browser ui from the ground up

I wish to switch to a new primary laptop. I normally use multiple machines in the course of a day. I have probably hundreds of open tabs on my main computer and even though I checked "Open Tabs" for sync, they never show on my other devices.

Following previous help recommendations I searched for the json sessions file...it doesn't exist anywhere on my system. The only other "help" was to "tap" tabs in the lower right corner. There is nothing in the lower right corner unless, perhaps on a phone, which isn't the device in question.

Please help

15/12/2025 I need to sync my firefox data from my old windows 10 laptop to my new windows 11 laptop. Do I have to download the firefox app on to my new laptop before I can sync it, and will I need a new password if I have to download the app. Im using my old password on my old laptop to write this. On the new laptop, I tried to sign into firefox on the internet but, it said my password is wrong. I'm an oldie and have no idear what to do. Iwill be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks,

For some reason after I restarted my laptop (firefox was opened) Mozilla was reset. I was logout from my acc and also firefox isn't my default browser (I didnt anything with it). Btw if I tried to open any link system will open it via firefox. But firefox still said that its not default browser in system. And if I open default apps in Windows I have 2 firefox there (and both recommend me to set is as default). Except FF I have only edge that also said that I can set is as default. After I login in my acc in firefox I haven't anything. No history, no passwords, extensions etc. What I can do here? I tried to use sync but as result I still have nothing.

Never cough smth like this before in same cases.

How can I remove all my saved passwords from Firefox Sync? On my desktop, I went to Menu > Passwords > Three Dots > Remove all passwords, and they're gone. However, on my mobile phone, they're still there. So the sync functionality is borked. The question is, are the passwords still on Mozilla servers, or is just the sync to my mobile buggy?

Even if I were to delete my FF Sync account, for good measure I'd like to manually delete all passwords from it first though.

Any help welcome.
