The tabs work fine when they are part of the bar but a newly opened tab (blank) just doesn't do anything, sits there, inert. Doesn't start uploading the desired web page no matter how I try to get to it - either typing the address directly or using the address pull-down menu. It makes normal tasks cumbersome - this has been going on for about 4 - 5 days. Thanks!

hello Lida, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, probably an addon is interfering here...
