Is there a way yet to use your mobile to add another device? The mobile device seems like an obvious tool to be able to add another computer - especially traveling. It's absence here is problematic for any number of reasons.

If I understand you correctly ...

You need to have access to the "new device" to be able to add that device.

For instance, you can't add your desktop PC to Sync from your handheld device when you are on vacation. You would have need to setup Sync on the desktop before you left on vacation.

Oh well. I guess I am going to have to either put my firefox key up on Drive or Dropbox -- or just switch to Chrome so I can log in and have my bookmarks and settings there for me when I need them. I guess I can understand from a security perspective not wanting someone to gain access to your firefox stored passwords, but that is one reason why I don't use or sync that kind of data in first place - or let a browser store my passwords for starters. As for FF sync, I don't need ft. knox for my bookmarks - a simple password is sufficient since I don't really have anything in bookmarks that is classified as top secret.
