I set up sync and I got the sync key, which I saved in my email. I formatted my computer and installed new firefox, now I want to set my old bookmark and other passwords in this new computer, How can I do? I think my dat was saved in mozilla server then why I am not able to get the data back?

Unfortunately Firefox Sync is not a back up service. It uses the servers as a temporary storage for your information while it's pushed to your other devices. The purpose of the service is to synchronize your devices and share their information.

The next time, I would recommend you to create a back up of your profile before proceeding.
