I keep getting a 404 not found message when trying to access my Yahoo mail only when using Mozilla Firefox. When using Internet Explorer, I do not have the problem and can access my yahoo e mail.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Thanks so much for the assistance. Unfortunately I still cannot reach my yahoo mail from MY Yahoo home page. Interestingly I can see the list of mail in my personal assistant, but when I click on one to open or attempt to go to the Mail page, I get the 404 message.

Only happens while using Mozilla Firefox which I greatly prefer to Internet Explorer (which allows access to the email) due to speed and features. Any more ideas would be appreciated.
