Bookmarks Toolbar doesn't have edits visible in pulldown menu

After heavily editing a folder in my Bookmarks Toolbar through Bookmarks | Organize Bookmarks, the changes appear when I navigate from the menu Bookmarks | Bookmarks Toolbar but opening the folder from the icon in the Bookmarks Toolbar shows the folder's bookmarks as they were pre-edit. They've never gotten out of sync before. (After posting, I will try restarting Firefox to see if it syncs them. I'm posting this first because it's a bug, even if there turns out to be a simple work-around.)

As I suspected it might, restarting Firefox fixed the problem. The bug and work-around should be noted.
