Spam Folder
I empty the Spam folder regularly. However, usually shortly after, everything I deleted is back in the Spam folder again, along with any new spam emails. I have to go through all of them again each time to be sure there is no legitimate email in there as well. Why do the spam emails come back into the spam folder after emptying the spam folder?

- Who is your email provider?
- Do you see the same behavior when you empty the folder while using the web mail interface?
- Do you see the same behavior if you restart Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode? (See <Help | Troubleshoot Mode>.)
Your Spam folder's index might be corrupt. To fix it, right-click on the folder name in the Folders List and choose "Properties" from the context menu, then click the "Repair Folder" button. Follow this up by compacting the folder (right-click on the folder name in the Folders List and choose "Compact Folder" from the context menu.)
My email provider is Spectrum. No, it doesn't happen on the web mail page.
I haven't tried starting Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode yet.
I did try the "Repair Folder" and "Compact Folder". I will wait a day or two and if it keeps happening, I will try restarting in Troubleshoot mode.
Thank you for your suggestions!
