Password popup keeps appearing spontaneously after recent update.
The popup appears and when cancelled will reappear after some time then repeat.
This popup appears to have a mind of it's own and should only appear "on click" into a password request box.
This is very annoying and whenever it appears the page being used will not function until the popup is cancelled.

Thanks for reporting this. We’re aware that some users are experiencing slower password autofill and unexpected Primary Password prompts (bug 2064411) following the recent Firefox 154 password-storage changes. We’re actively investigating and working to address these issues.
We’ve rolled out a mitigation and recommend allowing remote improvements in Firefox Settings and restarting Firefox to make sure you’ve received the latest change. This may not immediately resolve all issues, but the team is actively working on a follow-up fix.

The problem has been around for a while. It's unprompted appearance is annoying. This occurs on opening the program or on any website that wants you to log in even if it's not required.
See if updating now to v154.0.1 resolves the issue for you.
