How do I transfer Thunderbird from my PC to my Mac?
I have been using Thunderbird on my PC for years and when I got my last PC, I found a article to help me move my files. I am now looking for instructions on how to move my Thunderbird files from the PC to the Mac so I can continue using it as I have been.

That is the file name that Thunderbird showed. I copied it right from the Troubleshooting page, The Thunderbird folder is on OneDrive and on my hard drive. I have turned wifi off and I'm currently copying the Thunderbird folder from my hard drive to a USB. Over 1500 files, over 6 GB. I've used Thunderbird for a long time. I did find another dohicky so I can copy the Thunderbird folder to the Mac when the USB is ready. I'm hopeful that this will work.
GOT IT!!!! I guess I don't really understand OneDrive. I'm not sure if the Thunderbird folder is on there or not. Anyhow, I turned off wifi and copied the Thunderbird folder to a USB. Then read the USB into my Mac. I followed the steps in previous instructions, run Thunderbird and went to About:profiles and chose the correct profile. AND IT WORKED!!
THANK YOU, Rick, for so much help over the last 3 days. And Anthony for being willing to step in and assist. I just gave a $100 donation...
Good to know. Kudos for hanging in there until the problem was solved. And thank you for your donation.
You see now why I was concerned about you getting the right file, though I didn't pay enough attention to your mentions of OneDrive, and why I suspected that something was wrong with your profile. I'm glad to know now that this simple process really does work as long as the right file is used.
OneDrive is Microsoft's cloud for storage, sharing, syncing, and backing up. When you need a file from your PC, get it from your PC, not OneDrive. But you could use OneDrive as an intermediate storage location by uploading a file to it, then downloading that file onto a different computer.
I have two suggestions for the info in the link to transfer Thunderbird to another computer. Under the Mac section, in 1. there is no mention of the fact that many people have their Library file hidden. That should be addressed. And in 4. there needs to be more about setting the old profile file as your default one. I had to go to about:profiles to do that.
I am pretty much done with my PC. I have preferred the Mac for years but needed the PC for Microsoft Publisher. Anyhow, thank you again.

Thanks. I have passed your suggestions along.
