Yahoo folder creation
Hi, I have a Yahoo account in Thunderbird. Every time I try to create a folder, it doesn't appear immediately. I have to close Thunderbird and reopen it to see the new folder on my folder list. This doesn't happen with other email accounts, like Gmail or NetworkSolutions, only with Yahoo.
Thank you for any information on how to correct it, or whether other people are having the same problem.

I don't have a solution for you, but for me, new folders added to my Yahoo account appear immediately. Similarly, deleting a folder sends it to the Trash folder immediately.
This is Thunderbird ver. 140.12.1esr on Windows 11, IMAP account. I'm adding the folder in Thunderbird - I haven't checked what happens if I add it on Yahoo web mail.
Hi Lin, I forgot to mention that I'm using a free Yahoo account. Is your account a free account or a paid account?
I have two Yahoo accounts, both are free. I wouldn't think that would make a difference.
Try restarting Thunderbird in Troubleshooting Mode (see the option in the Help menu.) Among other things, that will temporarily disable all add-ons, in case one of them is interfering.

Hi again, I did restart Thunderbird in Troubleshooting Mode and tried to create a test folder, but it was not shown in the folder list. Just after restarting, it appeared. Any other suggestions to fix this? Since it works for you, it should work for me as well, but unfortunately, it does not.
