QUALITY DOWNGRADE
everytime i upload a picture to some websites like tiktok/microsoft or even firefox, my images' quality gets decreased like from 2160x2160 to 230x230 idk why help me, firefox if you see this, FIX YOUR BROWSER ITS UNUSABLE

Hi, does the same thing happen in other browsers or only Firefox? I believe what you're describing is related to the website and not to the browser.
firefox itself because i went to accounts.firefox.com then tried to change the profile picture and it still plummeted my images' quality
Got it, that's actually to be expected, as those websites do it in order to save space on the server and make browsing go faster. There is a related conversation on reddit if you're interested.
its DEFINITELY the browser ive seen other people changing their profile pictures with the browser and it looks normal BUT with a different browser, why would they make a web version if it doesn't even work, big companies re-check the website to make sure its ok, they wouldn't skip changing profile pictures since its one of the most important feature for personality
