I have 2 laptops (Macs) and want to Merge the bookmarks on the two. I can only find ways to copy one to the other, but then it overwrites what is on the laptop the bookmarks are being copied too.

You can use Sync to merge the bookmarks between both computers. You need to use an HTML backup to merge the bookmarks as restoring a JSON backup will always replace the bookmarks.
