I have removed the Tor browser but the onion icon remains in the top R/H of the menu bar. How can I delete it? Thanks

Best is probably to create a new profile to make sure that there are no leftover settings from the Tor version.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
