In each update there is, my browser is reset, the history, tabs, and all other data is lost with no way to get it back. I'm given no warning of when this will happen and frankly, this shouldn't even be an issue. This makes Firefox unusable and despite my love for this browser, I won't be using Firefox unless the issue is resolved.

I have lost several very important tabs and data, and this isn't the first time. This has happened since I got Firefox. This ussue makes this browser unusable and unreliable.

That's the opposite of what is supposed to happen. Firefox's built-in updater should update the program files directory without disturbing your data, and then update data files to the latest formats without losing data. (There are occasional exceptions like when the bookmark descriptions feature was discontinued a couple years ago.)

The earlier suggestion of checking for older profiles is a very good one. Hopefully you can reconnect with your data through the about:profiles page. If there's nothing listed there, we could suggest where to check on disk for possible unlisted folders.
