My Firefox gets a distorted sound and an very distorted echo on V98 using it on Linux. I can stream a movie and it is fine, I open Firefox to look something up and all my sound on Linux gets distorted including the movie. I get no distortion if I use other browsers. if I open it up on Firefox it and all other pages/sites get distorted sound.

My system has/running: POP! OS 20.04 LTS 64 bit Gnome version 3.36.8 windows x11 AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8 core.

Try downloading another copy of Firefox, run it from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
