Firefox Preview does not support tab queueing in the background. On the current FF Beta browser, if I tap on a link, it doesn't open the browser but instead I get a notification stating "Tab saved in Firefox Beta | OPEN NOW". My use case is this: I am reading an article that has several links. I am interested in these links but want to visit them later after I read the main article. So I tap on each link to queue them IN THE BACKGROUND in Firefox Beta and then after I am done reading the article, I open FF and read those links. With FF Preview, each time I tap a link, it OPENS FF preview and loads the link instead of queuing it in the background. I have attached a screenshot showing the behaviour with FF Beta.

That is correct the tab queue feature of Firefox for Android is not part of Firefox Preview. The Firefox Preview team is looking at what feature to bring over from Firefox for Android. Tab queue may appear in a future release.
