I want to start using my Firefox account with the colored tabs but forgot my password.

Last week I clicked on my Firefox icon and the page came up with my theme and colorful tabs. I wanted to start using Firefox browser again but have forgotten my password and didn't want to open a new account. The reset msg sent asked me to 'click on the button' but button is not clickable. I don't understand about syncing or a Master password. My main reason for wanting Firefox browser is the colorful tabs extension across the top of the page (which my son says never existed!!) and the colorful themes. I don't want to lose all my settings if I just open a new account. Thank you - I am an older senior lady and don't know a lot of technical descriptions.

If you have your Firefox Account recovery key, you can recover your account using that.

Unfortunately, you you don't have your Firefox Account recovery key, you will need to reset your password, which will remove all data from your account. The recovery email will have a clickable button to reset your password.

If for whatever reason the button is not clickable, it's possible that your email provider is blocking the link in the email. Email services usually have an option at the top of the email to show blocked content or trust the email sender.
