I want to know how to get off the Beta Channel and just get major updates - not updates everyday. Thing that used to work no longer work with the last beta update!

I suggested to install the current Release because installing a Release version will put you on the Release channel and not get anymore Beta channel updates.

Release < Beta < Nightly

Release, Beta (and developer edition) and Nightly are separate Channels. Also a separate ESR channel (where 60.5.0 esr is current) made for Enterprise users in mind..

There is a channel-prefs.js file where you can change the channel you get updates from however it is not really for going backwards in channels. Like say Beta back to Release.

Sorry James, I didn't understand your reply. I downloaded and installed the version from your suggestion and it appears that I am no longer on the Beta Channel. However, the options to save Logins and Passwords and the Forms and Autofill still do not work. I guess I have screwed something up. Thanks for your help.
