When I type a url or click an icon either nothing happens or it goes to a blank page. What should I do?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but that didn't help. Also ran a virus scan and didn't find anything.

What's your computer system and Firefox version?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
