I Cannot send a mAIL TO A GMAIL CLIENT.
I AM NEW TO tHUNDERBIRD. SENDING A MAIL TO A @GMAIL.COM ADRESS IS REFUSED BY THUNDERBIRD. ALL SETTINGS ARE CORRECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOOGLE. iMAP.GMAIL.COM PORT 993 - SMTP.GMAIL.COM PORT 465. SENDING THE SAME MAIL WITH TE SAME SETTINGS WITH WINDOWS LIVEMAIL FROM THE SAME DESK TOP DOES NOT GIVE A PROBLEM. WHAT GOES WRONG WITH THUNDERBIRD ?

At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button 
, then select Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Press the Copy text to clipboard button and paste the information into your reply.
I installed Thunderbird with de gmail settings. But sending a mail to a @gmail.com client I get I refusal. All setting are ok. smtp and imap etc. Other mails are sent normally
I get I refusal.
And that means what? Is there any error message?
Troubleshooting Information?
I removed the account from TB and installed a new (same) account with gmail. And...... no problem . All things work perfectly. Sometimes solutions are simple. Thanks for reaction. Case closed.
