Firefox used to work well until last week, now crashes on startup - have reinstalled, tried unticking hardware acceleration - not fixed.
Until last week Firefox worked reasonably with just a few crashes (windows 10) , now it crashes immediately. I have reinstalled it, ticked hardware acceleration ( it starts in safe mode) but is not fixed. Any ideas?

thank you, looking at these reports, it looks like it may be caused by external software on the computer. please go into your system's control panel and remove any software labelled "Freecorder" or similar or by the publisher "Applian Technologies" or any other toolbars.

hello, could you provide your latest few submitted crash reports? please enter about:crashes into the location bar, copy the latest few report ids from there starting with bp- & paste them here into a forum reply. this will give us a better understanding what may be triggering those crashes.

Great - Firefox now opens - (though I did have some difficulty removing Freecorder!) Many thanks for your help!
