I rcvd a text email and it read just fine. I forwarded it and the paragraph text changed to one long line. I fwd it back to myself and it was the same one long line. So it isn't a setting in TB, right?

I do not "think" it is a setting in Thunderbird. but if you would like to forward as an attachment to an email the before and after emails I will have a look at the message source and try and work out what the cause really was.
