Would like to add a tablet to the sync function of my computer but i cannot find "add a device" in the menu/options/sync of computer..
Latest version of Firefox is installed on both devices. I guess from what i read on this forum that the problem may come from the tablet (Samsung) which may have the old sync version. I deleted the Firefox sync account on it and installed the latest Firefox version but then when i want to add the Firefox sync account, I get the 3 codes which I am supposed to fill in on the computer sync options. But the computer doesn't provide this option. Can you please help?

You need a Firefox 29 or later version on that tablet to be able to connect to the new version of Sync.
The "3 code" "pairing" function was last used in Firefox 28 versions on all types of devices. And is sounds like that tablet has a pre-Fx29 version right now.
