The Add Exceptions box does not open?
When trying to add an exception nothing happens when I click the Add Exceptions, no dialog box appears.

You need to uninstall and reinstall the Firefox
This did not solve the problem, the same thing occurs.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar.. Then Tools > Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
