12 days still no solution to no emails, Is there a way to escalate to get my problem solved? ISP says it is a Thunderbird problem, on all 4 calls.

I have the latest Thunderbird, it has been working fine for 14 years. Now I get a message about the certificate is not valid for the server. The emails are on my ISPs web… (saznaj više)

I have the latest Thunderbird, it has been working fine for 14 years. Now I get a message about the certificate is not valid for the server. The emails are on my ISPs web site, but do not load on to Thunderbird. I have 4 emails in Thunderbird two With my ISP and two with gmail, the gmail work fine. The last call to my ISP Wowway, the had me change incoming server name and port #, change from STARTT to SSL/TLS and change my outgoing server address. This did NOT help.

 Can I talk to anyone at Thunderbird. This is my 3rd or 4th post here. HELP ME PLEASE!

I have cleaned my computer for more space, i have deleted all in my trashbin, updated the application, deleted thunderbird and downloaded it again but nothing works.

It is only his email that all of sudden doesn´t work...

I know that nobody cares out there but I'd like to tell you so you understand why. Have used Thunderbird for quite a while. Recently, however, I have WAY too many mystery problems: server connections timing out or unavailable, disappearing emails, correspondents NOT getting my emails, me not getting their emails. I've had to reinstall and setup the program several times in the last few months. Each time, new problems. Really HATE to abandon independent developers/organizations in favor of commercial programs, but I need a app I can rely on. Gonna see how I do for another couple of weeks. Is there an app that can scan settings and flag problems? Program's getting fairly complicated. Remember Scotty, "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

About 5 weeks later, I now that I have the restored drive and its data from which I can restore the original profile with its address book, messages, and folder hierarchy. Will it possible to now import /combine the the email history from the second profile?

Since T146 was auto-installed on 12/12/25 (I think), the Write window in which I compose new messages has ceased to close automatically, although the message is actually sent on time. I use Send Later (with a 5 minute delay). In troubleshoot mode, the window disappears - as it used to. Is there a problem with using Send Later on T146?

I had two emails on my Thunderbird. I deleted one by mistake. The G Mail account still works. I tried to reenter my Spectrum Account and I keep getting that my configuration user name or password are wrong. I checked all settings and they appear to be correct. I also deleted the account and tried reinstalling it and got the same result. I also tried to enter a new email account that I just got. I had the same result. Keeps asking me to reenter the password. (would be helpful if it would say why it is wrong (password, setting, etc.) I spent hours on this today. I worked with the Spectrum agent and we couldn't fix it. Bur it seems to be a general problem because I get the same result with both accounts.

After a Thunderbird update today all the emails in my inbox suddenly disappeared, and I was left with the message saying that the inbox was empty! Hundreds of emails - among them quite a few very important ones - were simply gone! What do I do??? What has happened and how do I retrieve the missing messages? The funny thing is that it's only the inbox that has been emptied. The emails that my filters have sent to my alias-boxes are still there. I need my emails. Where have they gone??

Outgoing email SMTP timeouts after Thunderbird update

Had this problem suddenly crop up since the update of one of my accounts not sending mail due to timeouts. I've not changed any passwords or settings since I had it worki… (saznaj više)

Had this problem suddenly crop up since the update of one of my accounts not sending mail due to timeouts. I've not changed any passwords or settings since I had it working last. The message is the "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) [my workplace's SMTP server] timed out. Try again." one, and it's preventing me from sending any emails.

Specifics:

  • It's one account (my work one: work runs an Outlook/Microsoft mail server).
  • My personal account (gmail) sends fine. Both accounts recieve email fine too, so this is just one direction on one account.

Things I've tried:

  • Switching my Firewall off makes no difference, so it's not a firewall problem
  • It's not that the emails I'm trying to send are too large, one word test emails also don't send
  • Extending the timeout time by 3x doesn't help

I also opened a second computer not yet running the latest version - the account worked fine. Then applied the upgrade and that broke things in exactly the same way as described above. So I'm pretty sure this is an issue caused by the upgrade in some way. Not sure if other people with Outlook servers are having the same problem or if there's any workaround available but would appreciate advice.
