what are the "certificates" - I don't recognize them.
builtin certificates are not a good idea. how do i remove them all?

hello, the current implementation of a secure connection to websites (https://) requires certain certificates to ship with a browser or an operating system (removing them all would give you an error message or deny access for each secure site you're visiting): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_certificate
please note that there is an extended "vetting" process by mozilla until a root certificate is going into the browser and mozilla will also act quickly and remove such certificate if there are signs of mishandling, leaks or other problems and publicly communicate that. 2 examples from the past
