Adblock Plus stops working after some time on Firefox Beta

Config: CM 10.1 on Nook HD+ Firefox Beta (21.0) Adblock Plus 2.2.4

Adblock Plus works fine for a while but stops working at some point, not sure what triggers it. When Adblock Plus is working, the addon options are available to view/edit. When the addon stops working, the only options available are disable/uninstall - none of the AddBlock Plus properties are available to view/edit. Not sure whether this is a problem with Firefox Beta or Adblock Plus.
