multitouch scrolling and zoom from Synaptics device not working
My Synaptics touchpad wont two finger scroll or zoom in and out using the multitouch feature in firefox. i have updated the drivers and reinstalled friefox. the multitouch works in all other programs and on the main windows 7 desktop to control the size of items. the curser responds to the action showing it is executing the command to scroll or zoom, but firefox is not responding to the command. when i scroll with an external mouse and my touchpad at the same time and i stop with the mouse the touch pad will continue to work until i stop moving for even the smallest fraction of time

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4+ versions.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.
- browser.gesture.pinch.in -> cmd_fullZoomReduce
- browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
- browser.gesture.pinch.out -> cmd_fullZoomEnlarge
- browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
- browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> false
